Purpose

The institution exists to set out, in writing and to a consistent standard, how people are expected to conduct themselves in formal, professional and intercultural settings — and to assess whether that understanding has genuinely been acquired. The emphasis is on accuracy and reproducibility rather than folklore: material is authored against identified sources, published as a fixed version, and revised only by issuing a new version.

Areas of study

The Academy's current curriculum covers the following areas. Nothing outside this estate is taught or offered.

Etiquette and personal conduct

British social etiquette, dining etiquette and table protocol, dress codes for formal British occasions, social grace and personal presence, and composure, civility and personal standards.

Protocol and diplomacy

Royal and diplomatic protocol essentials, and international relations and diplomacy essentials.

Professional and organisational conduct

Business protocol and executive presence; communication, public speaking and correspondence; and professional certification and train-the-trainer practice.

Intercultural and family practice

Cross-cultural intelligence and advisory practice, and children's etiquette and modern manners.

Approach to learning

Each course is published as an approved version with stated learning outcomes, divided into modules and lessons. A learner's enrolment is pinned to the exact version studied, so the record of what was taught can always be reconstructed. Study material is released to enrolled learners; the public catalogue shows purpose, structure and outcomes rather than the teaching text itself.

Assessment and credentials

Learning is assessed within a course, and certification courses additionally require a formal examination administered under server-controlled conditions. Passing an examination establishes eligibility; issuing a credential is a separate, recorded decision with its own lifecycle of validity, expiry, replacement and revocation.

Credentials described on this site are certificates issued by Noble House of Brattleby itself, on its own authority, through the assessment process described above. They are not externally accredited qualifications: no regulatory approval, awarding-body recognition, university validation, governmental certification or professional-body accreditation is held or claimed. A holder's credential can be checked by a third party through the verification address carried by that credential, which discloses only what the holder has permitted.

Governance and standards

Curriculum and assessment are subject to structured governance. Material is reviewed and approved before publication, and subjects where error carries real consequence — notably royal and diplomatic protocol and cross-cultural material — additionally require independent review by a qualified specialist before that material may be released. Approved versions are immutable, and every change is traceable to the version that carries it.

The Academy is built to serve individual learners and professionals studying in their own right, executives and other private clients, and organisations and educational institutions wishing to enrol and oversee groups of learners. These are the categories the platform is designed to support; they are a statement of capability and intended audience, not a claim of existing clients, contracts or partnerships.
